Pasindu … how are you? Because doing these days.
I’m fine. In the meantime, I have been involved in the shooting of two new creations and the teledrama that I love to air these days. I also spend time in farming.

First of all, who is Pasindu? What to do.
Hmm … Pasindu is an innocent man with a humble heart and who helps others whenever possible. I’m an all-rounder as an artist. I work as an actor, announcer and vocalist.

You are an artist representing many disciplines … we would love to know more about that.
Yes … I represent a number of sectors. As an actor, I contribute to movies, teledramas, commercials and music videos. As an announcer, I announce any occasion, including the concert stage. A voice actor has been the voice actor for foreign teledramas and cartoons aired on Lesha Sirasa TV and Hiru TV.

What creations have you contributed as an actor? What to see in the future.
As an actor, I have also acted in Guttila, Midunu Vismaya, Passport, Kabaddi and a Tamil film by Indian film director Deepa Mehta. As far as teledramas are concerned, he has contributed to 28 teledramas through acting. If you recall a few of them, the 7 gang, because of you, can remember Queen, the story of the heart, as much as the breath, she, the dream company, the good work, Dharani, the superheroes, the earth, the fire to the ashes, as much as love to tell, the race. He has also contributed to a number of music videos and commercials that he loves dearly.
You can see my performances in the future with a new creation by Mr. Wassilu Wessa, Manusathvayo, Google and Jayasekara Aponso.

You once served as a member of the security forces. He was also a wrestler. Speaking of which.
He served in the Engineering Corps of the Sri Lanka Army. There I served in the Army Wrestling Squad. On November 11, 2018, the Sri Lanka Army won a gold medal in the 79 kg weight class at the National Apprenticeship Wrestling Championship. He then served in the Sri Lanka Army for nearly three years.

You’ve worked as an announcer, haven’t you? Let’s say details.
Yes. I have been working as an announcer since before I started acting. I have been in the advertising industry for over 10 years now. On the concert stage, I carry out any announcements made in Sri Lanka, such as religious programs and political programs.

Is it true that you get the character of the villain the most in acting?
That’s true. Currently I have received more than 20 evil characters from the creations I have contributed to the play. I think I get that because I do the maximum justice to the character I get. Because not everyone can play the role of the villain. It takes a lot of confidence in the heart. Must have a good personality. Must look good. I think I have it all. That’s why directors talk to me more about evil characters.

What do you see as the turning point in life?
In fact, I think the turning point in my life was when I left the Sri Lanka Army, which gave me the opportunity to act. I think it took my whole life in a different direction.

If we talk about the experience gained so far.
I have a lot of experience. I had the opportunity to have a special experience, especially during the filming of Passport. I spent two days filming on troll boats at sea. There we even had to face some accidents. I also had new experiences in every teledrama I contributed to. Some days there was filming until dawn. Faced with sun and rain. I had the opportunity to perform face to face with the giants of the art world. So from the day the play started, every shoot was a new experience for me.

Then where is Pasidu’s village?
My hometown is the beautiful village called Attygalle in Hanwella. Basic education was obtained from BP / H / Attygalle Junior College. Later I went to BP and / or Mayadunna Maha Vidyalaya to study for A / L. I received my Dhamma education from Sri Sarananda Dhamma School, Ambulgama. I am currently residing in the beautiful village of Katupothana in the Galgamuwa area. I also worked as a Sunday school teacher for eight years. And I am a non-alcoholic person.

Who helped you get involved in the arts and who helped you go this far?
Definitely have to remind. A group of my friends instilled in me a passion for acting. Those are the comrades of the Aralaganwila Nayana Art Forum. I’ll be here today with those friends
Because we met. Special thanks to Nandun Tharaka Jayatissa, Damith Dinushan and all the Nayana Ru family. Since then, my heartfelt thanks also go to Dilrukshi Akka for her constant support and coordination. I would also like to thank all the staff, including the directors, co-directors and producers, for their contributions so far.
And I need to especially remind my two loving parents. They are always happy that I am involved in acting and I have their blessing at every moment. I would also like to remind you that veteran artists have always mentored me.

What are Pasindu’s future hopes?
